Spiritual Exercising in Advent:
Letting God Become What God Loves

December 2, 9 & 16
7:00-9:00 pm
Upper Room

God loves things by becoming them. This is the Christmas miracle, and this is what we Christians call incarnation. It began 13.8 billion years ago with a singularity and massive explosion we refer to as the Big Bang. It reached a complete expression 2,000 years ago when God fully became human in the person of Jesus. Today, God continues to become what God loves, and that includes you as part of the Christmas miracle.

Join us for three weeks this Advent for a prayer experience that will take us deep into the Christmas miracle of incarnation as it links the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius with the theology of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. This experience will include three evenings of teaching and faith sharing, a daily prayer practice and two meetings with a spiritual director.
