Is there more to life?
Alpha gives everyone the opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course usually meets once a week for 9 weeks. Sessions begin with a meal, followed by a short video, and time to discuss the topic.
During the discussion, everyone is welcome to contribute their opinions and no question is considered hostile or too simple. Questions might include–Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Alpha is for everyone –no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.

What is Alpha?
Alpha is a program designed to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Alpha is centered on sharing a meal, building community, considering a topic and discussing that in light of our individual lives.
When is Alpha?
Alpha is held on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm February 13 through April 10.
Why would I want to go to Alpha?
Alpha is a wonderful way to connect with others, share a good meal (that you don’t have to cook!) and discuss some of life’s greatest questions.
Who should come to Alpha?
Anyone, inside or outside the parish, who are interested in community, exploring the meaning of life or those looking to deepen their relationship with God.
Do I have to talk and share my thoughts?
No. You may remain silent the entire time if you wish.
How long is an Alpha session?
Alpha Sessions last 2 hours. They go by quickly. We start on time and always end on time.
How much does Alpha cost?
There is no cost, Alpha is free!
Can I just “come and see” for the first week or two?
Yes. Just register to let us know you’re coming (so we have enough food prepared). If you don’t want to continue after a week or two, no worries. We will not call you or bother you if you don’t come back.
