Three Ways You Can Make a Difference This Christmas Season

Our parish is offering three ways for you to donate to local families in need:

  1. Food Basket for a Family of Six
    Please include: Fresh or canned hams (6-10 lbs), potatoes, rice, gravy packets/jars, corn, carrots, beans, peas, green beans, fruit, dinner rolls/cornbread, and dessert (pie, cake, or cookies). You may include additional items, but NO alcohol. All items must be store bought.We ask that Ham Food Basket items be placed in a single container, such as a box, plastic laundry basket, clothes hamper, woven basket, etc.
  2. Food Basket for an Individual
    Please include: Fresh or canned hams (2-3 lbs), potatoes, rice, gravy packets/jars, corn, carrots, beans, peas, green beans, fruit, dinner rolls/cornbread, and dessert (pie, cake, or cookies). You may include additional items, but NO alcohol. All items must be store bought.
  3. Urgently Needed Items (Choose any one or combination of items listed below)
    $25 gift cards (Uber/Lyft or gas cards), diapers (all sizes needed), baby wipes, cleaning supplies (sprays or wipes), laundry detergent, dish soap, paper products (plates, napkins, paper towels), face wash, cotton balls/rounds, shampoo, body wash, deodorant and hand lotion. These donations will be given to local social service agencies to be distributed to local families in need.

Please bring your donations to St. Margaret Mary Parish on December 20 between 9 and 11am.

Pull through the circle in front of the church at the Green Trails Drive entrance and a volunteer will come to your vehicle and remove your donations. Please be sure to give the volunteer your name when you arrive.

If you are unable to bring your donations on December 20th, please indicate this when you sign up.
