Deacon Joe and Deacon Fred are available on Wednesdays from April 29 – May 27 if you need someone to talk to. Please feel free to reach out to either Deacon if you want to talk to a member of the clergy in detail, about your faith life and/or how you are coping at this time.

Do you or a loved one need prayers?

We have set up a Google page for parishioners to send in your prayer requests. If you would like to be a prayer warrior, please let Fr. Paul know at phottinger@smmp.com.

Do you need someone to grocery shop for you?

Our parish Volunteer Grocery Shoppers can help you get the food you need. Instructions and guidelines have been prepared to make sure that safe physical distancing is observed. Are you experiencing a financial crisis?

Saint Vincent DePaul (SVDP) provides short term financial assistance to those living within St Margaret Mary’s parish boundaries – whether members of the parish or not. Aid is for items such as rent/mortgage, utilities, auto repair and medication. To request help leave a phone message at 630-369-0777.

Would you like a parishioner to make regular phone calls to you?

Sunshine Ministry offers regular phone calls from a friendly volunteer to those who may be somewhat home bound or residing in assisted living or nursing homes.  You may select the day(s), time and length of calls, and chat about subjects of interest to you. You may request a phone call by contacting Mary Straub, 630-983-6661, sunshine@smmp.com or the parish office, 630-369-0777. If you are interested in joining this ministry contact Mary.

Do you need some help preparing meals for yourself and your family?

The Emergency Meals Ministry provide meals for a person or family that has recently experienced a difficult experience that could be a life threatening illness, an extended hospital stay or a situation requiring bedrest. Our volunteer cooks will be careful to prepare food that is prepared safely. At times they may also work with local restaurants to prepare meals. For other needs that our parish cannot provide

The DuPage County Community Resource Information System ( www.dupagecris.org ) contains an easy way to access most of the social service agencies in DuPage County.

If you are a senior you can also contact the DuPage County Community Senior Services at (630) 407-6500. They provide home delivered meals, case/care management and other services.
