Almost half of all marriages end in divorce. On the other hand, many marriages not only survive, they prosper. Why do these marriages work? Researchers surveyed 351 couples who had been married for fifteen years or more. In 300 of the couples surveyed, both spouses stated that they were happy in the marriage.
As a long-lasting and happy marriage is our goal, perhaps these 300 couples can help us to understand exactly what it is that makes a marriage work. Researchers reported that the men and women in this group identified 17 similar reasons for the health of their marriages. Join us for this intriguing presentation as Dr. Ken Potts delves into the results and discusses the components of a long-lasting and happy marriage.
