Jacqui Snyder joined SMMP on July 1, 2019 as Director of Children and Family Faith Formation. She is responsible for the early faith formation of the children of the parish from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The Faith Formation program includes approximately 475 children as well as 70 Catechists and more than 25 other volunteers in the program. Besides weekly classes, Jacqui is responsible for the Sacramental programs for both Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. She is also responsible for and will act as a resource for the coordinators of our other children’s programs – Liturgy of the Word, Children’s Masses.
Prior to coming to SMMP, Jacqui was a veteran catechist at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Naperville. In addition, she worked full time as an elementary teacher in the Diocese of Joliet for 12 years – 11 at All Saints Catholic Academy. She is enjoying the opportunity provided by SMMP to work full time with children and their parents in the Faith Formation programs. Jacqui is a certified teacher for grades K-9 and attended Benedictine University, North Central College (Master’s in Curriculum & Instruction) and Lewis University (English as a Second Language endorsement). She and her supportive husband have enjoyed raising three successful children in Naperville.
