Our Strategic Path

There is so much happening in our vibrant community and people continue to experience new life in Christ!

To help us be more intentional about our God-given resources for our growing parish, we discerned the need for a Strategic Path. We call it a “path” instead of a “plan” to emphasize that we are following God’s lead. While we have clear goals just like a strategic plan in any organization, we also want to remain open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance along the path that He knows is best for our parish.

We began this effort in January 2025 with a parish-wide survey that 20% of our active parishioners completed, a number that hits the mark as far as surveys go. Our Parish Leadership Team (PLT) also consulted with a dozen churches across North America that are on fire for being on Mission. The PLT then organized the data, prayed significantly over it, and put together the Strategic Path with an overall Objective, Five Goals to help us meet the objective, and three Key Results for each goal to ensure we realize a given goal. These were discussed at length with the Pastoral Council and Parish Staff and adjusted accordingly. The Strategic Path was finally completed by the end of June 2025, just in time for the new fiscal year.

The overarching Objective and Five Goals are highlighted below and the more detailed Strategic Path documents are also available here – both the two-page overview and the longer, in-depth version. If you have questions or comments, please direct them to the Pastoral Council at [email protected] or the PLT at [email protected].

St. Margaret Mary, pray for us!

Objective: Proclaim and live out the Lord’s Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).

Five Goals to achieve this Objective:

  1. Offer an extraordinary Sunday experience for all parishioners and guests at St. Margaret Mary to encounter and grow in Christ.

  2. Provide a clear pathway for anyone to start or grow in their faith journey.

  3. Strengthen our service & ministries to be the most healthy, vibrant, and fruitful instruments of the Gospel as possible.

  4. Enhance our place of worship to deepen people’s encounter with God through beauty and the rich heritage of our Catholic faith.

  5. Continue to update our campus & grounds to more effectively house our vibrant parish community.
